Frequently Asked Questions About Tiny Homes on Wheels

Manufacture

What is your tiny home framing?

We use only steel framing for constructing our tiny homes. Steel is stronger, straighter, and notably lighter than traditional timber framing. Our steel is manufactured using CNC machines imported from New Zealand. The precision of roll forming technology ensures minimal waste, as all metal is cut to exact lengths in the factory, and steel is fully recyclable. Light steel frames can have a lifespan of up to 100 years.

What is your tiny home interior wall?

We utilize eco-friendly materials for our internal wall panels, specifically laminated wall panels. These panels are lightweight, waterproof, pre-finished, and easy to clean. We offer a variety of patterns and colours to choose from, available in matte or glossy finishes, and in pure or textured designs.

What is your tiny home insulation?

We insulate our walls and ceilings with high-performance glass wool, providing an R-rating of 2.5 to 5 for both. Widely utilised in the light steel prefabricated building industry, glass wool offers excellent soundproofing and thermal insulation properties.

What are your tiny home windows made of?

We install custom-made aluminum double-glazed windows in our tiny homes. All glass is toughened for road safety, and windows feature laminated external faces. For enhanced thermal performance, we offer the option to upgrade to thermally broken aluminium frames and high-performance glass.

What is your tiny home external cladding?

We primarily use lightweight metal PU sandwich panels for cladding to ensure minimal weight.

What is your tiny home roof and gutter?

The roofing, guttering, and flashing are constructed from Colorbond steel, with options for two types of roofing profiles: corrugated or clip-lock. You can select from several colors to personalize the appearance of your tiny house on wheels.

Please note that gutters cannot be installed due to dimensional restrictions when the tiny house is on the road.

What is your tiny home floor system?

To manage the weight of our tiny houses, we use plywood as the subflooring material. We offer a variety of flooring options including wood, laminate, vinyl, and more, tailored to suit each customer’s preferences.

Do you offer ceramic tiling choices for bathroom areas?

Yes, this is feasible. Please contact us for more details.
